The CCRA credential is awarded to a CRA (monitor) who has met eligibility requirements, demonstrated proficiency of specific knowledge and job‐related skills, and passed the standardized Academy CRA Certification Exam. The CCRA designation formally recognizes a CRA has met the professional standards set forth by the Academy of Clinical Research Professionals.
Criteria to earn this badge
A CCRA program applicant is eligible to take the CCRA exam after providing evidence that he/she has at least 3,000 hours of hands-on employment working independently of the investigative staff; working on behalf of a trial sponsor(s); and performs the following CRA Essential Duties:
This badge verifies that its holder has demonstrated competency in the following areas- Investigational Product Management, Protocol, Safety, Trial Management, and Trial Oversight.
