Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC®)

The CCRC credential is awarded to a CRC (study coordinator) who has met eligibility requirements, demonstrated proficiency of specific knowledge and job‐related skills, and passed the standardized Academy CRC Certification exam. The CCRC designation formally recognizes a CRC has met the professional standards set forth by the Academy of Clinical Research Professionals.

Criteria to earn this badge

A CCRC program applicant is eligible to take the CCRC exam after providing evidence that he / she has at least 3,000 hours of hands-on employment working at a clinical research site, with study subjects, under the immediate direction of a principal investigator; conducting research activities under good clinical practice (GCP); and is performing all of the following CRC Essential Duties:
