Criteria to earn this badge

CAMT candidates must complete the following requirements to earn the CAMT credential. Candidates must complete the coursework and exam within 12 months of declaring candidacy.
•Minimum of 12 months of apartment or rental housing maintenance experience
•Successful completion of CAMT coursework, six modules plus online content (80 hours)
•Passing the CAMT exam. The CAMT exam is 100 questions timed for two hours and thirty minutes.

CAMT has a lifetime validity, therefore no renewal is required. You may become a member of the Apartment Institute for Maintenance Excellence (AIME) to stay up to date with the most current maintenance related topics. To renew your AIME membership, you need to pay annual dues of $50 and submit 3 continuing education credits. To renew your credential, go to www.naahq.org/renew.
